Question:

In the Proterm Medved 45 kW gas boiler, the piezo ignition began to work poorly. Can it be replaced with electric ignition?

Such a modification is impractical. In this case, it will be necessary to change the gas valve, automatic ignition and other things - it will be cheaper to purchase a new boiler. But preventative maintenance is required for the boiler.

Most likely, you have problems with traction: this is the pressure difference in summer time or small influx fresh air in the boiler room. You need to slightly bend the ignition electrode, otherwise it sees that there is no traction and does not work.

We cannot start the cast iron floor Protherm Bear 50: it shows error F1. What could this be and what should I do?

Press the Reset button to reset the error and restart. According to the error code, this means loss of flame. You need to check the gas pressure at the inlet - it may be low. The emergency thermostat could also have tripped, or the ionization electrode sensor might be faulty or clogged.

The built-in boiler in the Bear 30 KLZ gas boiler leaked, 3 boilers have already been replaced in 10 years, and here we go again... We have our own water, from a well. What could be the reason, and what should I do next?

There are many factors that destroy the metal of boilers. One of them is water that is excessively saturated with oxygen. Well water refers to such factors.

When heated, oxygen is very aggressive and causes severe rusting of the boiler walls. Active electrochemical reactions may also occur due to stray currents.

The floor-standing boiler Protherm 50 TLO is leaking - 2 buckets of water are collected from the floor per day... What can be done?

Reply from a heating equipment repair specialist:

To determine the source of the leak, boiler diagnostics are necessary. Perhaps a section could have burst, the pipe connection had come loose, and the safety group was leaking.

This could be condensation if the boiler is constantly overloaded. If there are problems with the heat exchanger, then in low-power boilers up to 45 kW they are not repaired, but simply the entire boiler is replaced.

The Proterm Bear floor-standing gas boiler began to work very poorly: it started the 5th time, there were problems with ignition, the indicator light stopped turning on. What happened to him?

Based on the description, it looks like the board has failed. Replacement only.

The Proterm Wolf kso floor-standing gas boiler began to emit a strange whistle when the burner turned on. What could this mean?

Reply from the service center technician:

An unusual sound may indicate a problem with the gas valve - an increase or decrease in pressure. The burnt gas (nozzle) of the burner may whistle.

Floor-standing boiler Proterm Medved KLZ 50. Works fine for several years. I sniff the injectors. When the flame burns there is no smell. When it goes out, I smell gas. (I turned off the boiler with the toggle switch - it smells).

I shut off the gas supply and it still smells. Should it be like this or not?

Reply from the service center technician:

By sniffing gas at the injectors, you are violating the rules for the safe use of gas at home. Preventive maintenance on gas boilers must be carried out annually.

Here’s a question: on the Proterm 30 TLO Bear boiler, the gas supply to the main burner has stopped, the pilot light is on, there is draft in the chimney, the voltage on the thermocouple is 120-130 mV, the temperature in the system is less than 60 C, the gas pressure is normal, the heating system is open, what can still block the gas supply?

I also wanted to make a note that the boiler is new and works in conjunction with the 100MS boiler. This didn't happen before. Another point was noticed: if you remove the thermocouple from the sleeve and heat it with an open flame, then the voltage increases to more than 200 mV and continues to increase with further heating; if you install the thermocouple back into the sleeve (the boiler is not running) and then start the boiler, everything
works fine. After 8-10 hours, history repeats itself.

Reply from a heating equipment repair specialist:

For stable operation of the boiler, a voltage on the thermocouple of 130 mV is not enough. It is necessary to carry out preventative work

boiler and, if necessary, replace the thermocouple.

I have a floor-standing gas boiler Protherm Wolf, it began to turn on every 5 seconds and turn off after the same amount, although previously it worked for 3-5 minutes and the same amount in the off state, tell me what could have happened?

Reply from the service center technician:

Gas boiler Bear KLZ 40, for 2 years heated a house with an area of 300 m2, now we connect hot water (for the first time), set the water heating temperature to 64 degrees, the boiler heats the water to 80 degrees and gives an error. It turns on again only after resetting all settings. With what it can be connected?

There are several reasons. They can be eliminated professionally by calling a specialist from the commissioning organization. I will give just a few of them: Correct installation and connection of the circulation pump of the boiler heating line. Installation and connection of the boiler temperature sensor.

Question:

Correct data entry into the boiler automation. Questions for specialists regarding boiler malfunctions Proterm Panther I have a Panther 24 KTV boiler. Seven years in work. There were no comments.

Now a problem I don't understand has appeared.

Check the pressure in the expansion tank, bring it to 0.02 bar. Everything will return to normal.

Proterm 30 wall-mounted, 1st floor 95 sq.m., second floor 55 sq.m. + heated floor on the first floor. It worked fine for two months, when the temperature hit -25 and started showing error f33. I restarted, and a day later the error repeated. I restarted again and it seems to be working fine. What is this connected with?

This error indicates that your chimney has frostbite. In this situation, I need from you a photo of the chimney from the street side. Along the way, we simply made a mistake when installing the chimney. This error is very common among installers, make a hole in the wall, pull the pipe out into the street and you're done - there are still a bunch of conditions that must be met in order not to catch the F33 error.

The Protherm Panther is installed, the boiler is 6 years old, the problem is that the boiler does not turn off at all, it is constantly on, the temperature is set to 55 (it cannot even be set above 60), although according to the passport it is 80. What is the problem? It consumes a lot of gas, the boiler is 28 kW, according to the passport the consumption is no higher than 30 cubic meters, in fact, all 50. I called specialists, they cleaned everything, changed the membrane tank, ordered to install an additional one, everything was done, it costs two additional pumps, on the floor and the second floor of the battery, all in vain, they looked at the “brains”, they think that it might be the problem, but the result is again the same, the boiler is constantly working. What could be the reason? Changing brains is expensive. Yes, and the pressure began to constantly drop, once every two days you have to add water to 1.5-1.8 atmospheres, after two days it drops to 1-0.9.

To put it simply, your boiler is programmatically limited to a temperature of 60 degrees (in your words). Most likely, the same is true with the boiler power. In order for the boiler to operate at max. efficiency you need to correctly calculate your load (in in this case number of sections of heating radiators and heated floors) and the power that your boiler should produce (set programmatically) and, accordingly, eliminate, if possible, heat loss in the house.

Regarding the drop in pressure, if you drained and refilled water from the heating system, then for some time over the course of 3-7 days it is normal that your pressure drops and you refill the system - this is most likely air coming out of the heating system through the Mayevsky taps (if you have them installed). Another reason may be more serious - a water leak in the heating system (the worst case is if it is in a warm floor).

It is checked by inspection, and the heated floor must be turned off for some time (turn off the taps on the comb through which you have the heated floor connected to the boiler) and see how the pressure in the system behaves. If the pressure stops falling, and when the heated floor is turned on, it starts to fall again, it means
leak in underfloor heating).

The problem is this: Proterm Panther 24 kW boiler with natural draft, error F1 comes on, resetting helps but not for long, although it can work for half a day. I changed the phasing (twisted the plug). There is no grounding on the boiler, maybe this is an ambush? And also, what options for “treating” this error might there be?

This error indicates the heating return sensor, 1.check the contacts on the sensor for oxidation; 2. Check the operation of the circulation pump.

Protherm Panther wall-mounted boiler 30 kW, in operation for 2 years, it suddenly became weak to heat the water in DHW mode, everything switches, the gas is on, the pressure is normal, you set it to 49-60 degrees, the output is 30-40 degrees, the temperature does not go to the heating, even in summer mode, the pump works, the gas pressure is normal, the three-way valve switches, the water pressure is as always, the service specialists throw up their hands, they say we need to test the boiler at their stand, but now it’s autumn (cold) although the heating system is working normally40 -75gr., I don’t know what the reason is (fiction), probably we need to install a separate boiler for hot water

Most likely you have a problem with the secondary heat exchanger.

Panther 30 KVT wall-mounted boiler. The burner does not gain full power.. We are using the third season, the first season worked with a bang (powerful flame, fast heating of the heating system, high-quality start-up after using hot water, although the network voltage was weak), in the second season the electricians replaced our substation, the voltage The network is stable and within normal limits, problems began with starting after using the mountains.

water, reset the error, it will start. Tolerable.

But in the third winter, there were constant problems: after using water, it started on the 9th or 10th attempt, it was all cracking when ignited, and every minute something would fall off, sometimes at night you would jump around for an hour, twist it, and take it apart. If you remove all the covers, the flame will light up a little and go out. And if it doesn’t go out, it burns weakly, but enough to keep you from freezing. Error codes according to classification - ignition errors.

For normal operation of the boiler you need a programmer, I checked it on myself. We have a protherm panter 24 kvt boiler after use turns off and stops heating. Please tell me what could be the reason and how can I fix the problem?

Your three-way valve has failed, you need to remove it and clean it.

Protherm Panther wall-mounted boiler 30 kW, 2-pipe system, installed two months ago, often turns on and off at any temperature (40-70 degrees). The supply to the batteries is hot - the return is cold. Top part batteries 20 cm hot, bottom cold. The end batteries are completely cold.

When the boiler and batteries are vented and no hot water is used, the pump does not make noise. When using hot water, the pump begins to make noise (gurgling noise) as if air has entered it, and the batteries, even if they have been warmed up, begin to cool down, while the boiler begins to continuously turn on and off frequently, 3-4 times every 1 minute.

There is air in the system, you need to drain all the water from the system through the return valve, to completely drain the water from the system, unscrew the Mayevsky valve from any radiator, then through the return valve, start filling the system with water; as the system fills, bleed the air from the radiators until water comes out, then you close the drain valve and turn on the boiler and there are no problems, you probably filled the system through the make-up valve in the boiler, this can be done, but it is difficult to expel the air, and the boiler is excellent, I don’t have any such problems.

Question:

I have a Proterm Panther 24K boiler, which has an ABC 537 ignition unit. The boiler is working fine, but lately the F1 error has started to pop up randomly more and more often.

I disassembled the unit and found solder gaps on the input connectors. I soldered it and it became much better. But with proper ignition, a continuous breakdown occurs between the ignition electrodes, and sometimes a breakdown occurs, then a pause and again an uncertain spark (as if in bursts of pulses).

Most likely, after such an incident, an error appears. How to localize a fault if it happens once every 3-4 days.

The problem is scale in the heat exchangers, there is overheating and it turns off.

Adjusted high pressure gas to the burner, resulting in sudden overheating when the burner is operating at 100%. Either your heat leakage is high or the heat exchanger inside the pipe has a high coating and very low efficiency

Question:

Please tell me what kind of gas automatic equipment is installed on the protherm pantera boiler? SIT? What number?

As a rule, the SIT 845 SIGMA automation is installed on the Proterm Panther boiler.

At the dacha, the gas boiler Proterm Panther began to act up. Suddenly stops heating and drops the temperature to 20°. What could have happened to him?

There can be several reasons for such a problem, ranging from ordinary mechanical blockage to serious breakdowns. It is necessary to carry out a complete diagnostic of the device.

After a sudden power outage, the Panther gas boiler began to respond poorly to the buttons and malfunction. When examining the board, I saw swollen capacitors. Can you repair this?

The board needs repair or replacement.

After a sudden power outage, the fuse burned out gas boiler Proterm Panther-24, although the boiler was turned on through a stabilizer. After replacing the fuse, the boiler was re-plugged directly into the outlet - and the fuse burned out again. What is the problem?

Obviously, there was a voltage surge that was not detected by the stabilizer. It’s bad that the voltage in the network was not measured at the time of the breakdown. You should now see what condition the board is in, whether there are any charred areas. It is likely that the thyristor on the board has burned out.

The wall-mounted gas Protherm Panther 25 turns on only the 2nd time, after turning off it waits half an hour and starts again - regardless of the set temperature. The inside of the boiler is clean. What could be the problem?

The main problems to check are: poor gas supply, insufficient current and dirty ionization electrodes.

PROTHERM PANTERA 25 KTV errors do not appear hot water it’s either warm or cold, the secondary heat exchanger is a hot boiler, it’s on or off, what’s the problem?

Most likely, the heat exchanger needs to be replaced.

Boiler Proterm Panther 2 years. Error F75 started appearing. With the heating system on the second floor closed, the boiler works. But now the same error occurs. We closed the heated floors on the first floor and it worked.

Maybe this is because the boiler power was adjusted and reduced a year ago? The area of the house is 145 sq. + heated floors, the boiler has 24.8 kW. Or is it something else?

Most likely the water pressure sensor is faulty. Or it was simply clogged with dirt from the heating system.

A protherm panther gas boiler is installed at home, which gives error F 28. How to fix this? Please tell me!

Error F28 (electronic ionization does not see the flame during ignition) This is usually either a faulty gas fitting or a dirty boiler.

Error F75 - repeated error of the pressure sensor; after starting the pump, no pressure surge was registered.

OPERATION AND REPAIR OF BOILERS

Sometimes a situation arises that a previously reliable and trouble-free gas boiler suddenly turns off automatically and does not want to start. Agree, the situation is not pleasant, especially if there is severe frost outside, and you use ordinary water and not antifreeze as a heat exchanger. However, even after winter, in spring or, for example, in summer, few people want to find themselves in such a situation.

If several attempts to start the boiler did not turn out to be successful, it means that something more than a trivial failure occurred. This indicates a malfunction of some component or sensor. Accordingly, in order for the system to start normally again, you must first eliminate the source of the problems.

Often the hint can be seen on the electronic scoreboard, if, of course, there is one. A conditional code should be displayed here indicating the cause of the failure. One point should be noted. Currently there are enough products on the market wide choose boilers, including famous manufacturers, such as Ariston, Beretta, Navien, Proterm. Bosch and so on. Moreover, each of them has its own error codes. The decoding can be found by studying the operating instructions.

Let's take a closer look at what could be causing the problem. All malfunctions that arise in a gas boiler can be roughly divided into 4 groups. These are, in particular:

Each of these malfunctions, in turn, can be caused by a number of reasons. For example, when the burner goes out, you should first check the draft. If it is excessive or, conversely, insufficient, the burner will constantly go out. This problem is typical for boilers with an open combustion chamber and a natural exhaust system.

This design includes sensors that are triggered if decomposition products are poorly drawn out. The sensor sends a signal to the control unit, which, in turn, automatically shuts off the burner. With excess draft, the flame is drawn out faster, causing it to go out on its own. In this case, the burner shuts off automatically based on the signal received from the sensor. In some cases, the flame goes out if there are strong gusts of wind outside.

The solution to the problem is to improve ventilation. In particular, you will need to clean the chimney, lengthen it or trim it. It’s quite simple to check what exactly caused the failure - hold a lit match to the burner holes and see how the flame behaves. If it goes out immediately, it means the draft is too strong. In this case, the burner may light up, although not for long. In this case, an unusual noise will be heard, and the flame will go out very quickly. If there is not enough traction, then the fire at the end of the match will simply burn evenly and not be pulled inward. One piece of advice can be given here. Do not forget to periodically check the condition of the chimney, because its opening may well gradually narrow due to contamination.

Another reason could be a malfunction of the corresponding sensor. It's quite easy to check. Close the sensor terminals and try to light the boiler. If successful, then you need to replace the faulty unit. The burner will go out and as a result of depressurization gas system. In addition, instability in the operation of the power system or poor thermocouple contact can cause a malfunction. Once you fix these problems, the boiler will start again.

A gas boiler is a very complex mechanism consisting of many parts. Accordingly, sometimes problems may arise with starting this or that equipment. There is also whole line reasons that could cause a failure. The most common ones are lack of electricity or a closed gas valve. In addition, burner clogging and abnormal pressure can cause problems. Often the cause of the failure is the failure of the ignition system. To replace it or clean the injectors, you need to contact a specialist who has permission to carry out such work. Incorrect actions in eliminating these problems can result in very serious consequences. Therefore, without any experience, it is better not to go here at all.

If the boiler operates for quite a long time, but still does not heat the water to the required temperature, then the cause may well be air pockets formed in the system or dropped pressure. Problems with the chimney can also provoke this problem. Possible causes here include insufficient oxygen supply. In addition, the water may not heat up because the pump or some of the automation elements have failed. Another one possible reason– insufficient power of the double-circuit boiler. It simply does not cope with its task if the heating is turned on and the hot water tap is open at the same time.

It is also quite common to encounter situations where the boiler equipment does not turn itself off. At normal operation Most automation switches off when the water heats up to required temperature. If this does not happen, then the cause of the problem should be sought in the thermostat. In addition, in this case, a failure can also be caused by a failure of the microcircuit. The latter will most likely have to be changed.

Vladimir:

The pressure in the heating system is 2.0. The system has been checked, there is no air in the pipes or radiators. The pump is in working condition. The boiler starts and stops with error 75. How to check the pressure sensor? It is electronic, there are 3 black wires connected to it. blue and red. When I drained the water from the system, it alerted me. When emptying, the pressure showed 0.9 and did not drop below as before to 0.5-0.6

Answer:

Error f75 (f75) is a recurring malfunction in the pressure sensor. After the pump has been started five times and the pressure has not exceeded the norm of 50 mbar. Check the functionality of the pressure sensor and whether the pump is working properly. Possible airing of the heating circuit pipes. Insufficient fluid pressure in the system.

The change in pressure is not recognized when the pump is turned on - the water pressure sensor and/or the pump is faulty, low water pressure in the boiler, the expansion tank is connected to the supply line - is it by chance in front of the boiler??? Sometimes it happens...

Are you sure everything is ok with the expansion tank? Is it inflated according to the manual? It should be 0.8.) And about checking the pressure sensor... It’s better to replace it with a pressure sensor - they are many times more reliable and durable...

In the meantime, check everything again. Make the pressure in the expansion tank 0.8. when you drain the water from the boiler for this, pay attention to the readings of the pressure gauge in the boiler. when the pressure is released, it should show 0 bar (not 0.9 or even 0.5-0.6). If it doesn’t go to zero, it means it’s dirty. There is no need to make any adjustments when replacing sensors. when you check, pump 1.3 bar into the heating system. (if the batteries have not yet cooled down, then 1.5) Focus on the readings of the electronic pressure gauge in the boiler.

Write then what you get - the boiler pressure sensor will see it or it will remain silent.

Vladimir:

The boiler has been in operation for 8 years. During this time, the tap for feeding water into the heating system was replaced and error F-75 recently began to appear; after the pump was started 5 times, the boiler was not started. The pressure in the system is 1.5, air is pumped into the expansion tank according to the manual 0.8. When I drained the water from the system, the pressure on the boiler was not below 0.9. I removed the pressure sensor and cleaned it with 12% hydrochloric acid, but there was no drop below 0.9. The boiler is started when the pump is running. with a pressure increase of 1.5 to 1.6. The boiler may turn off after 5 minutes, or maybe after a few hours. When you produce hot water, the boiler is running, you finish the hot water. The boiler does not switch to heating, only with the next increase in pressure in the system.

Answer:

I'm still haunted by your pressure sensor and expansion tank...

You still haven’t answered – have you checked the sensor? Because if he is not the culprit, then you need to look at the expansion tank. Not on the water supply, but specifically on the heating system tank. Usually, if this is the case, then the boiler does not want to work, but the hot water supply just works... Your case.

Check the expansion valve - maybe the membrane has flown - it seems to me that it is leaking... That's why there is not enough pressure. Well, of course, if there is suddenly no leak anywhere else, it can’t really be like that? Sometimes the valves are drained into the sewer and the owner has no idea that the coolant is leaving until he checks... Take a good look - there is definitely a leak somewhere... Is the safety valve on the tank absolutely normal? Maybe he's releasing pressure?

Vladimir:

The safety valve was initially undermined, cleaned, rubber cuff turned. The valve normally opens at 2.3 and relieves excess pressure. The pressure on the display is also 0.9 when there is no liquid in the system. Expansion tank for heating, opened it. The membrane is intact. I pumped in air 0.8. The pressure in the heating system is 1.5. The boiler does not start. When the pressure rises, when the pump is running, the boiler works. Everything repeats as before.........Previously the fault was with the pressure sensor. I took a pressure sensor from a neighbor, from the same Pather 24KTV (18) boiler I have. I installed the boiler and it works in all modes. I bought a new pressure sensor. Everything is OK. My old DD on my neighbor's boiler won't start. This is the varnish.
