Plenum painting or painting and drying chamber serves for distribution and purification of supply air coming from the unit group. The quality of painting products in a painting booth largely depends on the design of the plenum, the quality of its manufacture and installation.

The proposed design of the plenum is designed taking into account all the requirements for equipment for high-quality painting,and is suitable for installation in all types of painting booths and painting rooms. All plenum elements are powder coated RAL9003. It is possible to supply plenum made of galvanized steel.

These plenums have low weight, due to the use of elements made of thin-walled bent profiles, and good tightness, ensured by high precision manufacturing of parts. The design of the profiles and seats of mating parts eliminates the possibility of incorrect assembly and guarantees high quality assembled plenum. The plenum has special areas for installing corner inclined lamps.

The use of twist locks allows for quick and easy replacement of filters, and the design of the filter frame and seat ensures precise and tight installation of the filter itself. Assembly of the plenum does not require the use of special tools and can be done by anyone with basic plumbing skills.T.

The plenum package includes all installation materials, detailed instructions on installation and operation, as well as recommendations on the selection and replacement of filters.

Purpose

General structure and principle of operation

The dry filtration chamber is a metal structure made of galvanized steel, consisting of two zones:
- the working area in which the products are directly painted. The work area can be open, closed or swing type with a lifting top.
- and an exhaust unit with a service panel.

Hard load-bearing frame chamber ensures the durability of the product, and the prefabricated modular design of the chamber facilitates transportation, assembly and disassembly if it needs to be moved to another production facility.

The service removable panel of the hood unit allows you to effortlessly change the first and second stage filters, as well as monitor the clogging of the second stage filters.

A two-stage filtration system implemented in the exhaust unit ensures the cleaning of paint dust removed from the working area and allows you to capture 18 kg of paint per 1 sq.m of filtration zone

Direct drive radial fan ensures even distribution air flow and provides effective removal painting dust from the working area.

Fan options:

· General industrial with protection degree IP55, when using water-based paints or when installing the fan outdoors when using solvent-based paints.

Functions of the supply plenum (purpose)

1. The supply plenum ensures cleaning of the incoming air (due to the filter installed inside).

2. The incoming air fills all sections of the plenum and flows evenly into the room through the filter (due to the special structure, air turbulence is reduced)

Design of the supply plenum:

The supply plenum consists of separate sections 2x1 meter, the number of sections can be arbitrary. Typically, their width should be no less than the width of the exhaust wall (painting or). The larger the plenum, the more uniformly and linearly the supply air flows.

Depending on the number of sections, a general block is compiled. Inside, the connected sections create a common hollow space where the ceiling filter is placed. The lower frames are folding, with a latch, which allows you to replace the filter.

The supply plenum is connected to the supply ventilation; the ventilation input can be from any side (an inlet hole is cut out).

The supply plenum is designed to supply clean air to the parts painting area. Air purification is carried out by filter material installed in the folding frame of the plenum.

The required plenum area is formed from separate sections measuring 2x1x0.5 m.

Section types:

Separate section. All side walls are covered with galvanized sheet.

Right / left section. The left/right side is open for connection to other sections. The frame on the left/right side is prepared for installation with other sections.

Middle section. The left and right sides are open for connection to other sections. The frame on the left and right sides is prepared for installation with other sections.

The lower folding frame is made of painted steel angle and galvanized mesh. The perimeter of the frame serves as a retainer and clamp for the filter material. In the basic configuration, material of cleaning class F5 is installed.

The frame is tensioned and secured using a frog-type lock.

The connection of the supply ventilation air ducts is carried out at the installation site on either side of the section by cutting a hole in the galvanized sheet. The free location of the hole for the air duct makes the installation process easier
